Ulica Antuna Gustava Matoša, Zagreb, Croatia

The Croatian History Museum is located on Antun Gustav Matoš Street in Vojković Palace in the Gornji Grad district of Zagreb. The museum’s inventory consists of approximately 300,000 objects spread over 17 collections. The collections cover the period from the early Middle Ages to the present day. Due to a lack of space, the museum has no permanent exhibitions. The museum also has a library with more than 20,000 books. The museum is the main institution of all history museums and collections in Croatia. In the future, to allow for a permanent exhibition (through more space), it will move to the former Zagreb tobacco factory.
