The Mimaramuseum is an art museum located on Roosevelt Square in Zagreb. The museum exhibits the art collection of Wiltrud and Ante Topić Mimara. The official full name is therefore “Art Collection of Ante and Wiltrud Topić Mimara”. The collection includes 3,700 varied works by various European artists dating from prehistoric times to the 20th century. The collection includes many famous works by Dutch, Flemish and Italian masters (such as Lorenzetti, Van Dyck, and Rubens). The building in which it is located dates back to the 19th century and was initially a gymnasium until it was transformed into a museum.
