Kranjčevićeva Stadion is a football stadium in the Trešnjevka district of Zagreb. With a total capacity for 8850 people, it is the second largest stadium in Zagreb after Maksimir Stadium. Currently it is the home stadium of NK Lokomotiva and NK Rudeš. In addition to football matches, cycling races are also organized. In 1977 the stadium was hit by a major fire that destroyed the west stand. In the years since, it has had many adjustments and reconstructions. At the start of the Croatian War of Independence in 1991, the National Guard was established in the stadium, which later became the Croatian Army.
