Trg Ivana, Antuna i Vladimira Mažuranića, Zagreb, Croatia
The ethnographic museum is located on Ivan Mažuranić Square in Donji Grad in Zagreb. Its collection includes approximately 80,000 objects relating to the ethnographic heritage of Croatia. This heritage is divided into three categories: Pannonian, Dinaric, and Adriatic. Only 2,800 of these objects are on display. The exhibitions reflect the traditional way of life in Croatia, with embroidered costumes, musical instruments, furniture, and cooking objects and utensils. In addition, there are reconstructions of farms and rooms, which provide insight into the traditional life of fishermen and farmers. In addition, attention is paid to the culture during the Ottoman period.
