Sesvete is the easternmost district as well as the largest and most populous district of Zagreb. According to the 2011 census, the district had 70,009 inhabitants. The most famous landmark in the district is the All Saints Church with a baroque style. In addition, the Museum of Prigorje and the National University of Sesvete can be found in Sesvete. The district borders Gornja Dubrava and Donja Dubrava in the west, Peščenica-Žitnjak in the south, Krapina-Zagorje in the north, the town of Dugo Selo in the east, the municipality of Rugvica in the southeast and the town of Sveti Ivan Zelina in the northeast.
