The Zagreb Funicular (Zagrebačka uspinjača) is located on Tomić Street and connects Ilica Street in Donji Grad with the Strossmayer promenade in the north (Gornji Grad). Since it has always kept its original appearance and technical properties after its construction in 1890, it is a cultural monument of Zagreb. The cable car can carry 56 passengers (spread over two wagons) and takes just over a minute to travel. The track departs every ten minutes between 6:30 am and midnight. With its length of only 66 meters long, it is one of the shortest public transport cable cars in the world.
